Surrounded by lush rainforest on 3 sides and breathtaking views this property is the ultimate luxury retreat situated on 25 acres. Located at Beaumont, high on Cambewarra Mountain, 10 mins from Kangaroo Valley township approx: 20 mins from Berry and Nowra. A striking example of Australian contemporary architecture, soaring ceilings, glass walls, suspended roofs, jarrah floors - there is nothing quite like Ellywan. The ultimate luxury retreat in beautiful Kangaroo Valley.

Accommodation details
Consisting of 3 buildings - the main house has 4 large bedrooms, 1 with a king bed, 2 with queen size beds plus a combination library/bedroom with 2 king size single beds (which can be made into a Super King Size bed upon request). 2 ultra modern bathrooms and toilets, 2 large living areas, designer kitchen with butlers pantry and a large indoor/outdoor patio.
The Tree House is a unique 2 storey loft style building built into the rainforest and sleeps 4 with a queen bed downstairs and another upstairs. It also has its own bathroom and kitchen.
The 3rd building consists of a large games/exercise room complete with pool table a secluded bedroom with another queen size bed looking into the rainforest and now complete with a luxurious new ensuite bathroom.

Strictly no weddings or parties. * Maximum number of guests allowed on the property is 14 at any time. Please no extra guests, this includes extra guests camping or staying in caravans on the property. Our local security firm does do drive-bys and will report inappropriate use of our property.
Ellywan is designed to accommodate family groups and we have a strict no party policy. Any disruption to neighbouring properties will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any damages or extra cleaning costs will be charged to the credit card provided for the security bond.
Strictly no pets allowed.

A number of caterers are familiar with Ellywan. Ask our agent for further details but remember to book way ahead of your stay to avoid disappointment.

Listen to your favourite CD’s or stream from your smart phone on our 6 speaker sound system . Download the yamaha app to wirelessly control and play your music indoor and outdoor during your stay.
Your comfort is assured year round at Ellywan. There are two wood fires in the main house and another in the tree house; firewood provided from May to September. The main house has reverse cycle air conditioning in the living areas and ceiling fans throughout including all bedrooms.
Enjoy a game of pool or you can work lunch off on our cross trainer machine in the games/gym room.
Free super fast wireless starlink broadband if you are planning a corporate retreat or just need to stay in touch.
Stunning 8x5m in-ground solar heated swimming pool complete with glass and stainless steel child proof fencing
An firepit built into the under-cover patio is a guaranteed crowd pleaser and offers a unique entertainment experience complete with seating for 12 and 2 barbeques.

Wow..what an incredible place. Placed in an absolutely pristine and private environment, the photos did not do this beautiful location justice. It is a real retreat - a beautiful clean house surrounded by stunning nature. Lots of space and room for activities! Also a beautiful pool to relax in as well as other entertainment areas. The perfect spot - would definitely recommend and go back!!

I wanted to send you and the team a quick thank you. Our family group of 13 thoroughly enjoyed the weekend at Ellywan. The house was everything we needed and more. It is one of the best-appointed houses we have stayed in with sufficient everything to make your stay enjoyable. It is refreshing to rent a property which has adequate cutlery, crockery and cooking facilities to actually cater for a large group, nothing was lacking. The provided coffee machine was also a welcome addition. As a plus, the beds were comfortable which is very important. An added bonus for a nature loving family was the wildlife, we found ourselves constantly running to various parts of the property to watch wombats, lyre birds, wallabies and others enjoying life. Such a great long weekend and such a great property for a large group, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress free weekend away.

Amazing ambiance, accommodation A1, kitchen sensational to cook in, perfect in every way to relax and unwind. The fireplaces were already set for us to light. The outdoor fire pit is gold. Fantastic find for my group of friends. We have annual uni reunion and were looking for lots of room. This is a gorgeous location and a really well equipped house a lot of thought has gone into everything. One of the most relaxing stays we have had. Everything one could possibly want is included, a fabulous property. Perfect for a getaway with group of friends or extended family.

We all had a fabulous time, it was truly amazing at Ellywan. We booked a mobile massage with Balanced Body Massage Therapy in Bowral, they were fantastic; they did all 10 of us in 4 hours. Everyone from our group said they really enjoyed the massage and would book again. The Butler's Pantry is amazing. Well done to the owner for making this improvement to the old pantry. The ice maker was fantastic. We did not have to go out to buy extra ice. The property was well maintained. Such a nice place to stay.

We have just returned from our 2nd weekend away at Ellywan and it didnt disappoint. This gorgeous home ticks all the boxes. The comfort, the surrounds nothing compares. The lovely welcome by the owner makes you feel like you are visiting friends. The photos are stunning but they dont do the home or the gardens justice. Between a few of us this is our fourth visit to Ellywan. For our big group of 6 couples it was perfect, and we'd had an annual weekend away for the last 10 years. Quality like this in houses this size is extremely rare. We BBQd, had a catered dinner night, and a cook up evening on our 3-night stay. If you stay please look after the house as if it was your own as we look forward to our next stay.

We stayed at Ellywan for the Easter long weekend and the house exceeded our expectations. The house is more beautiful in real life, the location is amazing. You are close to town yet far enough on a hidden secluded property with amazing landscaping. The house has everything it is so well equiped, kitchen has all the necessities the sound system was wonderful. We enjoyed the fire pit every night, and the pool during the day. We lived the seperate cottages which was good for some families to enjoy a bit of privacy. The house is huge and the layout is great, we loved the architectural beams through the house and the way the bathrooms open up to an open air bathroom. The owners were lovely and left us a welcome basket of Easter eggs. We would definitely return.

Fantastic find for my group of friends. We have annual netball reunions and were looking for lots of room. This is a gorgeous location and a really well equipped house a lot of thought has gone into everything. The pool was lovely and the weather was divine so me made the most of it. Highly recommended.

6 couples in our group all loved this property. Plenty of space for large groups to enjoy themselves but lots of areas to escape for peace and quiet. Fully equipped kitchen , stunning pool , fire pit with wood , games room were all wonderful. We will be back for sure.
