Braebrook – Stunning farm house!

SPECIAL! Book two nights and receive a third night free! -Conditions apply
Nestled in Upper Kangaroo River is this stunning farmhouse, Braebrook. Only ten minutes from Kangaroo Valley township yet a million miles from a care in the world, the property was once the centre point of an original Kangaroo Valley dairy farm and in the 1970s attempts were made to create a micronation on the site (Little Scotland). Today it is a beautifully renovated retreat surrounded by 100-year-old fruit trees and serenely situated at the foothills of Upper Kangaroo River.
The home offers three luxurious bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious white timber lined interiors, large wrap around entertaining decks and wood burning fireplace (firewood provided from May-September). Braebrook beautifully combines old world charm with modern luxury oversize beds, gourmet kitchen, a magnificent 3.7m wooden dining table from the Royal Botanical Gardens Restaurant and a number of indoor and outdoor daybeds.
Relax under the shade of Australias largest Magnolia tree, enjoy lemons from the 100-year-old tree beside the house and regular visits from kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and a wide variety of native birds. Can you find the Bower bird nest near the creek?
With bush walking, swimming and canoeing on your doorstep Braebrook is a truly magnificent weekend or weeklong experience for couples, small groups of friends or families.

Another relaxing stay

Julie Pow - 3rd August 2022

This was our third stay at Braebrook and we'll be returning again next year. It's like a home away from home, we feel ourselves relax the minute we drive up the driveway and love how tranquil it is. The fireplace and heating are perfect for a winter stay and the bed in main bedroom is super comfy. Stop in at Bendooley Estate and Book Barn in Berrima on the way for lunch and to grab some books for the weekend, it's the perfect way to get to Kangaroo Valley!

Blissfully Relaxing and Beautiful!

Penelope - 25th May 2019

Braebrook Farmhouse was the perfect getaway for our family of 4. Not only was the property absolutely serene and beautiful, but it had a swing, trampoline, pet cows and games to entertain the kids too- everyone was happy and catered for! The interior has been very thoughtfully designed, with lots of cosy and idyllic spots to sit and read...or just simply take in the stunning views. The incredible kitchen had everything we needed (and more!)for meals and the bathrooms were generously stocked with gorgeous products. And very importantly- the beds were really comfortable too! We really loved eating out on the deck (which was particularly handy with messy children!), watching the animals and enjoying our surroundings, and then putting the fire on in the evening to completely unwind...with a wine in hand- absolute perfection! Our little Braebrook getaway was so special and relaxing, we left wishing we'd booked another night.

Quality Farmhouse property

Matt - 14th January 2019

We stayed for three nights at Braebrook - two couples. 25-35 years old. We felt the property was absolutely stunning. So much thought was put into laying out each little nook. The Beds were super comfortable. We had a chef with us and he highly rated the quality of the cookware and oven. We visited some of the local establishments, which we loved. 1. Hampton Deli (amazing quality produce) 2. The friendly Inn (perfect pub meal) 3. Drove to Berry, half hour away and a must! hope to be back!

Lovely property.

Maria - 9th December 2018

Wished I could have stayed longer. Well set out. All you needed. Very relaxing. Bedding comfy. Clean and inviting. Loved the nature.

Slice of peaceful paradise

Danni - 3rd August 2017

We stayed at Braebrook for a well deserved 'mums' weekend away and this stunning Kangaroo Valley cottage did not disappoint. Well equipped, tastefully decorated and with a roaring log fire, we were able to relax from the moment we stepped foot through the front door. The spacious kitchen allowed us to cook a beautiful Friday night dinner and various other meals throughout the weekend. We also managed a couple of walks in the stunning Kangaroo Valley surrounds and we ventured into town for a special birthday lunch on the Saturday. In hindsight, we probably could have self catered the lunch and not left the property, as it was so peaceful and relaxing there. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you for having us!
