Rathkell’s Pavilion is set on lush farmland in the picturesque Upper Kangaroo River area, just a 10-minute drive from Kangaroo Valley village. The property fronts the pristine Kangaroo River, perfect for swimming, kayaking, or fishing.
The home features a spacious open-plan living area with a fireplace, comfortable lounges, and a fully equipped kitchen. It opens onto a large deck where you can take in the stunning views or cook a meal on the gas BBQ.
The main house has three bedrooms: two with Balinese-style king four-poster beds and a third with a set of bunks. The bathroom is a true retreat, featuring heated floors and towel rails to keep you warm on chilly mornings.
A separate studio includes a king-sized Balinese four-poster bedroom, another bedroom with four king single size bunk beds, a lounge and TV area, bar fridge, and tea and coffee facilities, as well as its own bathroom.
In warmer months, guests can cool off in the 12-metre in-ground swimming pool. Behind the house, an elevated grassy plateau offers fantastic views and a fire pit (BYO firewood), perfect for roasting marshmallows under a sky full of stars.
Please note: Rathkell’s Pavilion is located on a working cattle farm, and pets are strictly not allowed. The Pavilion is designed for family groups, with a strict no-party policy—disruption to neighbors may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Caretakers live in a separate residence on the property. There is also a one-bedroom cottage, The Love Shack, available for separate rental. Both are positioned well away from The Pavilion, ensuring guests’ privacy.
